Moloney & Sons Engineering (MSE) is a unique professional engineering practice who has specialised in civil & structural engineering including all facets of infrastructure planning & design, project delivery/management, major & rural highways, bridge design, residential to industrial sub-divisions, stormwater management, structural commercial & industrial building/plant design. Minimum Requirements

Key responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the assigned Principal Engineer
  • Liaise with the project team, engineers and clients for project delivery
  • Provide high-level design and drafting services as required
  • Undertake inspections of construction works and existing projects to confirm integrity/compliance
  • Actively contribute to a dynamic team and commit to providing diverse services to assist in the delivery of the firm’s broad project base

Preferred Qualifications & Responsibilities

  • The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
  • Confident in their abilities to work autonomously, unafraid to ask for help;
  • Proficient/Strong English communication skills both with clientele and teammates;
  • Self-motivated team player;
  • Strong eye and attention to detail;
  • Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness and mature judgment in anticipating and solving design problems;
  • 6 years min. experience in civil design/drafting environment;
  • Strong design capabilities with roads, earthworks, stormwater management, water & sewer reticulation;
  • Highly competent in Autocad, Autocad Civil 3D & skills.
  • Competent 12d experience, however not mandatory;
  • Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, Local & State guidelines;
  • Australian Citizen;
  • Tertiary or Higher Education qualifications relevant to engineering; &
  • Experience with stormwater modelling and reporting would be considered favourable.
